I hope you are having a wonderful month. How we are already almost in November? time is passing crazy fast.

I have been spending too much time in TikTok lately, I know some people still are not sure about it but all I can say is that you can learn a lot from it, not just the dances haha. One of the things I´ve been learning more about is the fashion trends that have dominated 2021 that´s what I want to share with you today. Also, I believe they will continue to be big for next year.

Let´s start with the first category:

Clothing Pieces

Asymmetric Jeans, Mom Jeans, Dad Jeans, Bell bottoms:

Yes, I know thanks Gen Z for taking the skinny jeans from us! lol, the styles for jeans that will remain strong are the asymmetric ones with the button on the side, if you have seen this one it´s been pretty big for the last year or so, in some of the stores, you can find good pairs that are in the more affordable side is Princess Polly, Asos and also now these ones from Abercrombie which I think they have the best jeans and are in a very good middle ground of pricing and are very good quality and the fitting is just unmatchable there´s also the best pair of asymmetric jeans that I´ve heard is from Agolde this pair is on the more pricey side but from what people said it´s so worth it and honestly is always good to invest in a good pair of denim I personally have to save up lol they´re out of my budget atm.

The mom and dad jeans style, we have Levi´s to be the best brand to get them from I love mine and I got them from Urban Outfitters. Also Zara I have heard they have amazing pairs and more affordable.

The bell bottoms are coming back baby, yes! just like you heard it! good places to get them are Zara, Shein and well there are more high-end companies that have them but honestly, I don´t think this is a pair of clothing you should invest a lot into it because I feel like just like they came in they will go out style fast. Let´s have fun while it lasts.

Monochrome Sets & Pattern sets

Probably not a shocker, we have been seen these ones everywhere on Instagram, Pinterest, etc. currently obsessed with this print one from Zara well actually 2, one is a blazer set and the other one this fun 70´s print we will get into that trend later, the color of the season is this green under I don´t know the exact name of it so if you do let me know in the comments, the sets of this color, the one I have had my eyes on for a long time which is more beachy is this one from Blackbough, for spring and summer we will continue to see more pastel colors and neutral colors.

Sets with Strings

These sets are more on the edgy sexy side, honestly can´t get enough of them, The cutest ones I have seen are from Princess Polly, Motel Rocks, I am Gia there´s this more affordable one from Amazon. A trend that may last longer or not but for now living for these sets right now, not the cup of tea of everyone but if you want to join the trend I think is a very empowering, sexy trend.

Wrap tops

These wraps tops came in style and are super cute! there´s this one with this kind of fabric or this other one with the knitted material, I got this one from Shoprumours super cute and you can wear it in different styles that´s the fun of it. I haven´t worn it for a long period of time so still trying to figure out if is bigger chested friendly.

Styles

Soft Girl Style

To be honest, I learn all these terms from TikTok hehe, the soft girl aesthetic it´s so in and I don´t think it will be going anywhere because if we think about it adapting this style is very easy and everyone has clothing pieces that you can style to create outfits that are considered ¨Soft girl¨ here are some pics of the examples of this style. Some of the staple pieces for this look, floral dresses or skirt, rib cardigans, Nike airforce 1´s, headband, shoulder bag:

Street Style

This is edgier, street style has always been in style for what I have seen, maybe changes throughout the years but the structure of it remains a quick example could be the out of duty model look. For this one, the staple pieces are mom jeans or dad jeans, a white tank top, a leather jacket, or a black denim jacket, which can be complemented with black boots or sneakers that match the outfit also black sunglasses preferably vintage looking. this is a very basic example and there are of course many different ways to have a street style.

Y2K

My favorite at the moment and have to admit it took me by surprise. Y2K stands for the 2000´s so the fashion of those years, let’s take by example Britney, The Olsen Twins, Hilary Duff in Lizzie Mc Guire or another idea of the Y2K outfits will literally be the outfits the dolls from Bratz used to wear, square clear sunglasses, lot of hair accessories, low rise jeans that one we can skip haha. It´s a fun trend that you can adapt to your style and take what you like about it.

One of the biggest trends for this season is the mesh tops with all kinds of prints. Definitely, a trend that belongs in that area and now is back in style I got this blue zebra top from Amazon.
