Balance between lux and holistic

Balance between lux and holistic

Hello Friend,

Welcome back to the blog. It’s been difficult to start writing this particular one because I couldn’t organize the thoughts in my head but here we go…

A lots has changed since I started this blog and in case you also follow me on Instagram, if you do let’s keep going but don’t forget to follow me if you don ´t 😂😜 jk!

My balance with Products “Lux” (commercial, skincare products, from Sephora, etc.) & Holistic which is my Essential Oil base product started at the end of quarantine…

I started suffering from acne, I know a lot of people has deal with this problem and I’m not the only one and also I’m not an aesthetician or dermatologist so this only my personal experience.

It got it so bad and I didn’t know what to do I never had acne before so I didn’t know what to do so I started investigating and I bump into a YouTube channel his name is Hyram and maybe some of you have seen his videos, he’s the most genuine, bright person, he’s hilarious plus he is very passionate about teaching people about skincare so this was perfect! I started following some of his advices and started incorporating some of the products he recommended and I started seeing results , also other blogs, you tube channels like beauty within which are also 2 lovely ladies that dive deep into products and skincare.

I can do a blog post more focus on that about how I heal my acne, etc.

One of the biggest reasons I started this blog and my Instagram was to teach and my journey with non toxic living, with incorporating essential oils to your life for your health.

So what change did my purpose change??

I started feeling like an impostor, I felt like I was not being coherent with my posts and also with the new skin care routine I adapted to my life and I knew it’s not consider “ non toxic “ but this goes deeper than that I believe.

I think the true non toxic life starts with your mind, your mental health, to be true to your self, to love yourself even though you know you are not perfect, we still can have a voice to share what’s new with us, what are we up to… we are constantly changing and evolving in this life.

Things happen for a reason and I found that is ok to have balance with lux and holistic, til this day I religiously use my essential oils, take my supplements, clean my house with more eco friendly non toxic products and I also go to Sephora, enjoy using products from there which I know there’s a line of clean products that doesn’t have harmful ingredients but I know I can’t be perfect. I can’t be here and say I’m all holistic or all commercial products, the reality is that certain products work best for certain things.

I’m happy where I’m now! Grateful for all the learning from these past years from both parts the holistic and the lux products it has taken me to this balance and to feel more real with myself and with you too to keep sharing.

So to resume this blog post, is that it’s ok to want to integrate a little of both worlds, we don’t have to be only one thing we can combine our lifestyle to be what we need and take the information from what helps us to be the happiest and best version of ourselves.

I want to do a part II to get more into other details so stay tuned for now thanks for reading .

Xoxo

Diana,
